Polygamy is from the root polus- many, connected gamos- marriage, whether wedding is involved or not, and therefore functionally meant many marriages, or plural marriage of many wives. In most cases, there are three things, understood by the parties involved, which indeed revealed the work of Satan, employed in the whole transaction.
First, the husband, or the man in line, considered himself polygamous or polygamist, having multiple sexual relationships, variety of
sexual choice or preference, while the women (wives) are expected to be monogamous, be faithful to him.
Secondly, the matter appeared as retaliation between man and
the women. The women in polygamous relationship
see their husband as a man of multiple
wives {many wives man}, called polygyny (from
the Greek word gune) literally women
man and in the process take advantage to have multiple
lover men, elsewhere known as polyandry.
Thirdly, polygamy is not marriage. Marriage is between the man
and the first woman in his life, who according to the scriptures is called his
wife. God gives his daughter to his son as a wife. Satan gives adulteresses to
polygamist to be his wives.
Polygyny, more importantly includes concubines. The women in polygamy, see their man as a lover man, a man of many loves, rendered polyamory, who spent most of his time, in looking, finding, and continually establishing sexual relationship to any beautiful woman he finds across. Some polygamists prefer themselves to be known as polygyny, others as polyamory, in order to avoid marital responsibilities.
Polygamy is
the hidden vehicle given to man, by Satan, to practice immorality. If sex outside
marriage, is adultery, then why should not polygamy be
seen as adultery?
In Gender
and Millennium Development Goals of 2010, and beyond, it was observed that there was drastic growth in
population of women globally as compared to men. The resolutions, passed, were,
that:
(a) There must be
equality between men and women. Women must be given freedom.
(b)
The world must be
deeply concerned about girl child education. The slogan that: “If you educate girls, you educate the society” was promoted.
(c)
The civil
constitutions of the world must pass or create for the positions of women
representatives, which if possible should be two thirds; and
(d)
There must be polygamous
marriages, to carter for the increasing number of women.
The world decided to go that direction. The question,
which can knock sense to one’s mind, is that: “What is the difference
between equality and sameness?” For instance if seven is
compared to 10, the following logics are obvious:
1.
Seven
could only be equal to 10,
if 3 are added to it that is 3+7=10.
2.
Seven
is not the same as10.
The same applies to human beings. That is:
1.
A woman can only be equal to a man, if a man is added or
multiplied to her. This cannot happen by way of giving birth of a male child,
but exactly by marriage. Without the word MAN, there is no word WOMAN.
2.
A woman is not the same as man. Therefore, equality and sameness do not describe the same thing.
The world had been brainwashed to reject marriage as
appointed, prescribed by God, to allow fornication-
immorality in the name of polygamy, something they see as pleasure, in order to
avoid loneliness, and economic
deprivation. Men in polygamy considered their women
as sexual tools, idols, while their women have the same view on them. Polygamy is the tool used in the world to promote feminists agendas. Feminists argued that women in polygamy are
more liberated than those in monogamy, which they say are enslaved.
In the editorial of New York Times, March 11, 2006, John Tierney, quoted a woman from Utah, USA, in polygamy, possibly Mormon, who said: “If I’m dog- tired and stressed out, I can be alone and guilt- free. It’s a rare day when all eight of my husband’s wives are tired and stressed at the same time. Polygamy offers an independent woman a real chance to have it all {sleep with the man she wants, at the time she wants, to be called Mrs. So and So, when So and So, does not control her life} and represented the ultimate feminist lifestyle.” The woman delivered the speech to National Organization for Women, discussing Gender, and what best for women in the world.
Another woman, in polygamy, from the same seminar, was asked about her sex lives, and her reaction, to the women she shared the husband with. The woman said: “My sexual contact with the man is kept private and each woman whom I shared the man with, must respect the intimacy. Actually not much sex occurs, for the time the man slept with other women in this polygamous marriage, I had to move to my secret boyfriend. Our relationship in polygamy is not based on physical union, but on identification, and economic upkeep.” The woman continued, that: “Polygamy is good because it provides choice for changing sexual lifestyle. It opens committed cohabitation, opens doors to as many marriages a person wants, has hidden our prostitution (adultery) habits, and above all preserved our cultural heritage. Monogamy is forced marriage, wife swapping, spouse abuse, desertion, dishonesty, slavery, dictatorship, seduction, rape and all social ills.”
With open minds, these two women spoke open blasphemy,
rebellion towards the legitimate
marriage. Jesus Ben Sirach wrote in Ecclesiasticus 25:17- Apocrypha, that: “The wickedness of a woman changeth her face, and darkeneth her
countenance like sackcloth.” Polygamy is
rebellion against God. Researchers, and experts,
who are supporting polygamy, are wrong,
and deceiving the world. Women, who are involved in polygamy, had made wrong
choice, that is, immorality, not marriage, in
their lives.
The first polygamy, according to the scriptures, was Lamech. Lamech was the son of Methusael, who was the son of Mehujael, who was the
son of Irad, who as the
son of Enoch, who was the son of Cain, who was the son of Adam (Genesis 4:17-18). In other words, Lamech was the descendant of Cain. How did this polygamy, came about, was it a blessing or
a curse, and if a curse how did it turned to be?
When Adam cleaved, got fitted to his wife Eve, she
conceived and gave birth to Cain. Eve said: “I have gotten a man from the LORD” (Genesis 4:1). “I have gotten a man”, literally acquired a man, rendered Hebrew
kanithi, “from
the LORD”, Hebrew eth
JEHOVAH (YAHWEH). The statement of Eve did not mean that Cain was a
man who feared God, but rather she was acknowledging, praising God, for making
her to have safe delivery. By God’s strength, invested in their (Adam and Eve)
monogamous marriage, she had been blessed to conceive by Adam- her husband, and
bring forth a son who would further established the race of man in the world,
not polygamy whatsoever.
It is later revealed, in Genesis 4:2, that Eve “again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was
a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.” Here, we are not told that “Adam knew Eve his
wife…” as in verse 1. “Bare his brother”, rendered in Hebrew vattoseph laledeth,
literally “added to give birth”, or “continuous
birth” was clear evidence that Cain, and Abel
were twins. Cain came first, then Abel, second. Their professions were clearly
outlined. Abel was a keeper, literally a shepherd, not nomadic pastoralist, as some commentators disputed. Cain was typically agriculturist, or a farmer. Their father Adam, the first/ early man, was a gardener, according to Genesis 2:8.
“In the process of time”, recorded in Genesis
4:3, rendered Hebrew mikkets yamim,
that was, the end of days, the seventh day, called Sabbath, presently
known as Saturday, Cain, “brought
of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD”. During Sabbath, called here, the process of time,
Adam, and his entire family, without reasonable doubt, offered oblations to God. Worship, was very simple in the time of Adam, for it
consisted of two obligations:
(a)
Thanksgiving
to God, as Superior Being, above all beings- the Author and dispenser of all graces- favours, mercies, kindness;
(b)
Sacrifices-
animal, specifically a lamb for one’s own sinfulness, confession of transgression,
in seeking of the person’s justice and holiness, being the antitype/
picturesque, or symbolic to the coming Deliverer.
Presently, there is no need to make worship of God, to
appear difficult/ burdensome. The world tends to make worship appeared as
something easy for the rich, for there are unlimited money offerings attached
to it. To the contrary, present worship, should consist of thanksgiving, request of forgiveness from God, for all the sins
done, and individual
sacrifice, one becoming the temple of God.
Abel, also “brought
of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof” (Genesis
4:4). This is to say, comprehensively, that
Abel delighted,
was more serious about, with his sacrifices, and was exactly the nature of
faith broadened in Hebrews
11:4. Abel knew himself as a sinner, the victim of sin, offered gratitude
sacrifice, acknowledging the necessity of the vicarious sacrifice, with the
feeling of the need of an atonement. Therefore, “the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his sacrifice.”
The same LORD did not respect the offering of Cain,
hence Cain “was very wroth, and
his countenance fell”, Genesis 4:5. Cain’s sacrifice was rejected, because of his
attitudes. He demonstrated his unconscious
of his sinfulness, unhumbleness to his
offering, lack of respect to God’s holiness and justice, thus Cain was the father of Deism, for he felt no need of an atonement, not
acknowledged the necessity of a vicarious sacrifice, but was acting to the dictates of his own natural fabricated religion.
According to Hebrews 11:4,
he did not have faith when presenting his sacrifice. Cain, “was very wroth”, that is to say, his displeasure, evil feelings turned
against him, in his unhumbled, disrespectful heart. He could have turned into a
good person, would he have listened to God, and done exactly as
his brother. But he stubbornly chose to be ungodly and unnatural, to his brother.
God warned Cain, graciously, with the move to prevent his meditated
crime. The record, in Genesis
4:6-7, states: “And the LORD said unto Cain, why is thy countenance fallen? If thou
doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? And if thou doest not well, sin lieth
at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.” God
shown Cain, that he never rejects a person who served him in godliness and
simplicity. But if a person cannot do exactly that, then there is no way such
person can save his/ her soul, by diverting his wrath and indignation against
another person. Retaliation, to the level best, is evil against the LORD,
Almighty God. God provided further concrete fact, that he can still accept
Cain. If Cain does well, that is, his sacrifice in divine manner, God would
accept him, just as he had done to Abel. But, if he had not done well, that is,
he had not offered the required sacrifice, then “sin
lieth at the door”. This can be perfectly understood, in two
ways:
First, sin lieth at the door,
could be rendered in Hebrew, as lappethach chattah robets,
literally sin- offering lieth at the door, an animal, lamb proper, to be offered as an atonement
for sin, is waiting for Cain, at his door, to replace the wrong offering he had
given. God gave Cain a lamb, just as he did to Abraham who attempted to
sacrifice his son Isaac (See Genesis
22:13).
Secondly, sin lieth at the door,
stood for further transgression, evils, curses, Cain would brought to himself,
by continuing to be very
wroth, and fallen countenance. Evil, as wolf is at the door to consume Cain in the wicked belly. Evil,
or sin, is at door of Cain’s heart, knocking, to take/
welcome him in the wicked world. It was either way, not double standard, neither
shifting of goal posts. Cain should take the lamb for sin offering, and
reverse/ replace the sacrifice or Cain should expect to perish in his sins, for
many sins are outside the door of his heart waiting to enter.
Today many people perish in their sins, not because
there is no Saviour willing to save them from their sins, but because they are
stubborn, not willing personally within their powers to seek for a Saviour,
Jesus Christ. They come with their habits such as denominational/ religious
attachment or membership, polygamy, alcoholism, immorality, and other filthy
behaviours generally, and made them compulsory requisite, conditions, to be
accepted before meeting their Saviour.
God, even made it perfectly clear to Cain, that if he
accepted the sin offering lamb, then he would have the right of primogeniture,
that is, “his desire”. He will rule Abel, that is, Abel would be subject to him. Cain never did this. “Cain
rose up against Abel, his brother, and slew him”, in the field (Genesis 4:8). This was
clear evidence, that the first murder committed in the history of human race,
was as a result of worship, obviously religion. It was significantly the birth
of prejudice, bigotry, and religious intolerance evident in the world. It was
also the origin of monstrous religious persecution, from the wicked, which
impel, afflict and destroy those who had the Spirit of God. Cain saw himself to
be righteous through his own pride and deception. How many people in the world
are deceived from the pride of education and wealth they have? How many people
in the world measured their righteousness in terms of education and wealth they
have? How many people in the world had the spirit of Cain? God never saw
righteousness in Cain, but wickedness that had exposed itself as envy. Cain rejected the sacrifice {sin lieth at the door} offered by God. Instead, he accepted the alternative,
offering given by Satan. Cain is the first person to offer human sacrifice- his
brother Abel, to Satan [but God preserved Abel’s soul], hence, the record in 1 John 3:11-12, which stated:
“For this is the message that
ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who
was of that wicked one [Satan], and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him. Because his own
works were evil, and his brother’s righteous”. The epistle of Paul the Apostle to Hebrews compared the
sacrifice of Jesus Christ made to God for the sins of believers to that of
Abel, indicating that: “To
the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven,
and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect. And
to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that
speaketh better things than that of Abel. See that ye refuse not him that
speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much
more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:”- Hebrews
12:24-25. In clear sense, Cain rebelled against
God, to welcome Satan. The reaction of God was in this wise: “And the LORD said unto Cain, where is
Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper? (Genesis
4:9). The first thing seen here, was denial.
Abel was the twin brother of Cain, yet Cain is here rejecting, denying Abel to
be his brother. Cain is rejecting the truth for a lie planted in his heart. He
rudely asked, engaged in intense argument with God: “Am I my brother’s keeper?” that is to say “Am I my brother’s shepherd?” Cain seems to be contending with God, proving himself
as agriculturist, and not a shepherd (livestock keeper) as his brother Abel. He
cannot keep Abel, his brother, as a sheep, in order to shepherd, take care of
him.
God in turn, told him: “What hast thou done? The voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto
me from the ground” (Genesis 4:10). The notion
of God’s statement appeared, that: “Why
have you done, what I did not direct you to do?” As people say that blood is thicker than water, we must
know that blood has power, hence speaks. The blood of Jesus Christ is Christ in
Person. The blood of Christ speaks, and is now saving us from our sins. The
blood of Abel speaks, in demanding justice for the crime of Cain. All people
murdered by thieves, doctors, even those who had engaged in abortion, had their
bloods crying for justice before God. Cain murdered Abel secretly. God openly
revealed the sin of Cain. Because of murder, Cain was cursed. He was a cursed
person. Everything he did was cursed (Genesis 4:11). He was
cursed from the earth, that is, all his days on earth. The definition of curse is
perfectly clear and straight to the point. Curse, described violent or disaster designed to overtake harmful, religiously primitive person. Curse is rendered many Hebrew words: ‘alah, in Numbers
5:21,23,27, title for Satan, the name now used by
the Muslims, to call their
moon god, introduced by their last prophet Mohammed; me’erah in Proverbs 3:33; Malachi 2:2; klalah in Genesis 27:12-13; katara in Galatians 3:10,13,
and so on. Curse, also conveyed lack of prosperity, revealed the sense
of worshipping false gods where human sacrifices were involved, engagement in
magic or spells. In the ancient days, spells were written on pieces of
parchment and cast to the winds in the belief that they would find their way to
their destination, that spirits, agents of Satan acts as a postman and deliver
them at the proper address of the person bewitched. In Zechariah 5:1-3, the magic, or
spell, was referred as flying
roll. People of foreign gods, used to curse
others with their deities, for instance Goliath, who did the same to David (1 Samuel 17:43). Goliath cursed David as a sign of showing his
rejection to the God of Israel plus their worship. It was blatant mock. Al
l All these things were evident in Cain. The curse of Cain was executed in this wise:
l All these things were evident in Cain. The curse of Cain was executed in this wise:
(a)
The ground shall not henceforth yield unto thee. Cain, as the agriculturist, the profession whom he boasts of, would
not bring many gains to him. He as the original agriculturist, became selfish, and declined to offer sin sacrifice
to God. He offered reject.
(b)
Cain
would be a
fugitive and vagabond on earth. This is to say, he will be expelled from the presence
of God, and from the family of Adam- parents’ family (fugitive), and shall have no fixed secure residence
in any place on earth (vagabond). See Genesis 4:12. This is seen in robbers.
Cain, instead of continually begging for forgiveness,
complained, that his punishment
was greater
than he could bear. He thought there would be revenge for
Abel’s death, upon him. God assured him, as recorded in Genesis 4:15, states: “And the LORD said unto him [Cain], Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain,
vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain,
lest any finding him should kill him.”
“My punishment is greater than I can
bear,” recorded in Genesis 4:13, is rendered
in Hebrew gadol avoni minneso, literally my
sin, evil, I had done, is greater, or difficult to be forgiven. Cain knew himself that him being unforgivable man,
cannot be forgiven.
God did want revenge on Cain, and his command was
directed to the rest of the children of Adam and Eve. To some extent, God
spared Cain:
(a)
To prove the riches of mercy, grace, or divine clemency to
sinful men;
(b)
To prove, or show that vengeance, belonged to him;
(c)
To place him as a warning against the crime of murder.
The mark, that God put upon him [Cain] could be the distinctive
appearance of his descendants, which was also characterized with the attitude
of escaping from one place to another, something comprehended as God’s
protection. The mark was not a tattoo, neither rings, painting and so on.
Tattoo is associated with witchcraft/ Satanism.
The record concludes: “And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the
land of Nod, on the east of Eden” (Genesis 4:16). This is to
say, that Cain’s punishment, curse, as fugitive and vagabond, profitless farmer, made him, to have
wrath towards God. He withdrew himself from the worship of God, and went deep
into paganism. Cain rejected God, exactly as atheists do. Josephus, the Jewish
historian described further, that Cain was not amended by his punishment- curse,
but waxed worse and worse, giving himself to rapine, robbery, oppression and
deceit.
In simple terms, Cain, became godless, in which he
raised a family of godless people- godless generation. The meaning of the names
of Cain’s descendants recorded in Genesis
4:17-18, were as follows: Irad-
fleet as wild ass; Mehujael- smitten of God; Methusael- man asked, or man to man talk, man’s dominion; and Lamech- strong youth, or king, by metathesis, or Hebrew word melech. The meaning of these names, were completely different from those
given to descendants of Seth.
Then a godless descendant of Cain, who boasted of his strong youth, called Lamech, came with the issue of polygamy. “And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah” (Genesis 4:19). The name Adah, meant the adorned, while Zillah, referred to the tinkling, the musical player or shadow. Lamech took unto him two wives; literally, he picked for himself two women. He married one, called Adah and brought a shadow woman, a prostitute called Zillah, for sexual satisfaction. From the meaning of the two names {Adah and Zillah}, it appeared that beauty [adorned] and eyes gratification with loveliness {tinkling}, was the merit or criteria Lamech employed into taking two wives. So Lamech shown open rebellion against God, against the ethical aspect of marriage, as ordained, prescribed by God. He did this to blaspheme God, the Almighty. He turned into the lust of his eyes, lust of his flesh, and the pride of his life, permitted by the hardness of his heart, to bring the first evil, a new evil, in the moral status of the human race. Another woman, apart from one’s wife is a shadow wife, like Zillah, a fake wife- a prostitute, just as there are shadow ministers. Shadow ministers, in the real sense, are not ministers, and will never be. They live in darkness being clouded with serious illusions. Second wife, and so on in polygamy live in darkness, clouded with serious illusions, fighting for the man, who in real sense is not their husband.
Lamech is the first adulterous, immoral man mentioned in the scriptures. Lamech spoke blasphemy. The record in Genesis 4:23-24, states: “And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young to my hurt. If Cain shall be avenged seven fold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.” There is no secret in the family circles that could be hidden to the women involved in polygamy. When the husband is immoral, in the first case, they know very well. Lamech admitted openly to his wives, that he was a murderer, just, as his grandfather- Cain. He had violently killed, slain, a young man, who had wronged him. This presupposes, could have been from the family of Adam, who could have retaliated, or sought revenge for the murder of Abel. Lamech wanted his two wives/ women to keep his murderous action secret. The pretension of Lamech, was that God did not witnesses the crime he had committed. This illusion was promoted by the concept that Cain went out from the presence of the LORD. Lamech compared himself to God. If Cain killed his brother willfully, and God promised to avenge sevenfold, any person, who attempted to kill him {Cain}, then Lamech, is ready to kill, not necessarily revenge, seventy and sevenfold, any person, who attempted to kill him for murdering a young man. In other words, if God kills seven men, who attempted to kill Cain, Lamech would kill 77 men in self-defense. Lamech compared himself to God, and blasphemously, deceptively considered himself more powerful than God. Lamech regarded/ considered himself as god.
Looking deeply from the perspective of Cain, polygamy is a curse and
is not a blessing whatsoever.
How is polygamy, a curse, or how did it turned to be? Polygamy was
practiced by Lamech after Cain, his grandfather withdrew himself from the
presence of God. Presently, those who had already rejected the God of Israel
practice polygamy. Lip service, cannot, deeply convince that somebody
belongs to God. Rejecting monogamous marriage,
is a warning, clear signal that one had withdrawn himself, deserted from the
presence of God, like Cain.
These are the things, drawbacks, learnt on polygamy, based on the behaviours of Cain.
1.
Abel was a shepherd, looking after
livestock, while Cain was agriculturist. In other words Abel,
provided care, Cain was concerned about the yield of crops. Alternatively, in
polygamy, the men involved are not concerned about care they could provide for
their families. Instead, they are deeply engaged into increasing the number of
children, enlarging their families and depend heavily on numerous wives they
have for daily upkeep.
2.
In the sacrifice offered to God, Abel brought the firstlings of his
flock, while Cain, brought the fruit of the ground. Cain did not bring even the first
neither the best fruit. Abel’s sacrifice
was for his atonement, while Cain’s sacrifice was for pride, his own
righteousness. In polygamy, the man involved, does not practically became
responsible for the family affairs. He does not offer himself to God, to be
responsible man in marriage. Instead, he called immorality as marriage. He considered polygamy as marriage. He
devilishly creates his own marriage, called polygamy, in comparison to Cain’s righteousness. He has pride in women seduction more
than commitment required from him.
3.
Cain became “very wroth and his countenance fell”. People in polygamy, are very dissatisfied. They became very wroth and their countenance fell on the first women they had married.
4.
Just as Cain, a polygamous man is unconscious of his sinfulness, unhumbleness to his marriage. A woman is a weaker vessel, says Peter, the apostle (1 Peter 3:7), and must be so understood or accepted. There is no
meaningful point, no ethics that the woman being weaker vessel could be made
strong by bringing in another woman. Polygamy is lack of respect to God’s holiness and justice. God respect his marriage design: one man, one woman. God
does not respect man’s design of marriage, called polygamy. Polygamous man acts
according to his dictates when he brought in many
women to his life.
5.
Cain’s evil feelings turned against him. The evil feelings,
displeasure, unhumbleness, and disrespectful hearts of men involved in polygamy
always turned against them.
6.
God asked Cain: “Why art thou wroth? And why is thy countenance fallen?” This is like asking men of many wives, the polygamous men: “Why are you angry
with your wives? Why are you angry with the woman you first married? Why has
your confidence, trust, fallen, from your first wife?”
7.
God said again to Cain: “if thou doest not
well, sin lieth at the door.” In other words, monogamy is the marriage accepted
by God. If one marries one woman, his wife, then why should God not accept him?
But if he engaged into multiple marriages, then why should God accept him? Man,
for man’s pleasure, cannot change God’s command. Never! If one is a polygamous, he had not done well. He had done evil. But to change to a good
man, the marriage accepted by God, there is solution, seen as sin, lieth at the door. That is to say: (a) He has the opportunity to
chase away the second wife, woman, and her children away, to remain with the
first wife. He must forsake adultery for there is nothing called marriage with
the second woman/ wife. He must let the woman go. In so doing, he will regain
his monogamous status, thus accepted by God; or: (b) Sin awaits him, at his door. There is more wickedness
in store for the man, immediately he deserted monogamy, for polygamy.
Any man involved in polygamy is
finished. It is not strange thing that most people cannot let polygamy go. They
know the divine benefits of monogamy, but they are trying to convince the world
that polygamy is as good as monogamy. More
wickedness is waiting for a man in the world
of wickedness, immediately the person
engaged into polygamy. That is witchcraft, unfaithfulness, family tussle over
wealth, blame game and so on.
8.
“Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.” Polygamous man killed his first wife spiritually. The first woman no
longer trusts the husband. Polygamy, is rising up, and killing monogamy- the
marriage in God’s design. Happiness is killed, while sadness is given birth to.
9.
Cain, by killing his brother, brought the first human
sacrifice, in the history of the human race. He sold his soul to the devil. Men
in polygamy had sacrificed so many in open killings, rejection, birth control
and magic. They had rejected God, accepting polygamy which indeed is selling
their souls to the devil, Satan, proper.
10.
God asked Cain, “Where is Abel thy brother?” Cain answered: “I know not: Am I my
brother’s keeper.” The question of God, to
Cain, can be presented to polygamist, in this sense: “Where is your
monogamous marriage, seeing you are in polygamy? Where is the marriage that God
gave you?” The polygamist can give
answer similar to Cain in this wise: “I know not monogamy. Am I my wife’s keeper? I believe one
born as a man should be husband of women not woman. I know not marriage by
God’s design. Am I my marriage keeper?” Just as Cain, denied
Abel, as his brother, the polygamists, are denying their first wives. Cain
shied from brotherhood responsibilities. He declined to be his brother’s keeper. Later he became the keeper of his wicked generation. Men in
polygamy reject monogamy. They became keepers of the numerous women, they take.
They keep watch over their numerous women, to keep them off the hook of
adultery, which they are already into. As men, are male prostitutes, they think
their women are the same. Women are reshuffled like corporate employees.
11.
God asked Cain, who killed his brother, that: “What hast thou done? The
voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.” This is to say to a
polygamist, who had killed monogamy, the marriage prescribed by God. It is to say: “What have you done to your marriage, what have you done to
your first wife? The voice of your wife, is crying from the trouble of polygamy
seeking for justice.” God will give the justice to the first and only monogamous
wife who is crying for it because of her husband’s involvement in polygamy,
whether the man (said husband) is dead or alive.
12.
God told Cain, “thou art cursed, now, from the face of the earth.” From the time a man engaged himself into polygamy, he is cursed. The woman, who had been
added to that monogamous marriage, changing it to polygamy, is cursed also. These curses continue, to the death of the man, and
upon all his generations, especially from the second woman.
13.
The ground shall not henceforth yield unto Cain her strength. The polygamist, and his
children, will not enjoy the fruit of the earth. Some had contended that
children from polygamy at times are successful financially or prosperous. There
is no dispute about that. It happened for a very short time. It is not long
term. The success ends in failure.
14.
Cain was again told by God, that he would be fugitive- expelled from God’s
presence, and from the family of Adam, and shall have no fixed residence- vagabond. Polygamist had been
expelled from the presence of God. He is a person without fixed residence- vagabond. He runs from one woman
to the other, until his death. His children also think the same. He has a home
here, a home there, a home beyond here, a home above there, until he is brought
to his first wife, at the prospect of death.
15.
Cain said unto the LORD, my punishment is greater than I can bear. To polygamist, they
bring punishment, heavy burden upon themselves, which they cannot bear. If they
cannot forgive their wives for the wrong they did, going further to punish them
by marrying many other women, then who will forgive their barbaric actions? God
will not forgive them either. They will be held accountable for their actions,
or choices.
16.
God put a mark upon Cain. God had put a mark upon polygamist. Where the person is,
he will be talking about his family, wives, and his enemies. His generation
carries upon themselves a curse that only the Cross can reverse. The seed of
the curse can be carried on, for one among his descendants might turn polygamist.
17.
Josephus, the Jewish historian, indicated that Cain was not
amended by his curse; instead, he grew worse and worse, giving himself to rapine, robbery, oppression and deceit. Polygamy cannot, and will never amend/ correct marriage in
disarray. Polygamy cannot rectify the mess brought by woman or man. Polygamy
cannot change a man, neither woman. Instead, it makes marriage grow worse and
worse. It brings witchcraft at home. It brought oppression, in the sense that
the husband oppresses the first woman. The man lived in robbery and deceit. He
steals from workplace, to sustain his large family. He is a thief because he
has taken a woman belonging to another man, a woman who could have been married
to another man; if at all, his polygamous actions would not have crept. The
polygamist also raised children of robbery and deceit- none straight forward
children.
18.
“Cain went out from the presence of the LORD.” Cain rejected God,
and went his separate way. He voluntarily, decided, to become godless. Polygamy makes a man
godless. The man search for godless worship, evident in denominations. They
make for themselves godless worship, where polygamists, are ordained in
preaching positions. Polygamist raised godless children, who are at friction
with each other. The godless children, can only become not godless-,
Christians, if they separate themselves from the polygamous set-up, family to
live in separate places, on their own. If Cain went out from the presence of God, where one of his descendants
practiced polygamy, how then do the present polygamists think they are inside
God’s presence? Who is that God, or god?
19.
Lamech, the descendant of Cain, warned Adah and Zillah, to
keep his (Lamech) crime of murder secret. Present polygamists warned their
wives to keep their families’ secret. The secret of the wealth they had
devilishly acquired. The secret of their magic. The secret of the adultery
involved. The secret of the rituals they had engaged into, and so on.
