CHEAP BARGAINS WITH SIN AT THE EXPENSE OF VOLUNTARILY TAKING YOUR SOUL TO HELL.

Proverbs 1:10, King James Version states: "My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not." MY SON. This is God talking to you, as his child and a believer in Jesus Christ. Take it as a warning, command, as well as as advice. IF SINNERS, the non believers. It doesn't matter whether they call themselves brethrens, apostles, pastors, right honourables, Christians. If SINNERS would make a door of thy simplicity, afford thou no entrance. Sin is of so virulent and malignant a nature, that it tainteth the whole air about it, and filleth it with infection, and there is no safety to be found within its neighbourhood, without the blessed antidotes of piety, carefulness, and salvation for the lost souls offered by Jesus Christ. As they are sinners who take much pain to pervert his companions, denominations, religions, politics, and wicked people in the media engage much efforts to get converts, followers. ENTICE THEE. Endeavour to seduce thee from God your Father in heaven, from Jesus Christ your Saviour, from the life of holiness demanded by the Holy Spirit living in your soul, and draw thee aside from them, from listening to their seminary theology instructions, political advice, and quick money generating commands; and make use of all plausible arguments to persuade thee to join with them in the sins they are addicted unto, and are continually employed in. These are notorious sinners, who are guilty of the grossest enormities, who live in sin, and give up themselves to work all manner of wickedness; sin is their trade and business, and the constant course of their lives; they are hardened, impudent, and daring, and not content to sin themselves, but do all they can to draw in others; and to preserve believers from filling into such bad company is this exhortation given in this tender, affectionate, and moving manner; next to the fear of God, and regard to Jesus Christ as the only Saviour for our lost souls, is this caution given to shun the company of wicked men, which the weak in faith, young, premature converts, believers are liable to be drawn into, and is of fatal consequence. Tree is liable to have its roots eaten by worms. Smaller birds are eaten by bigger birds of prey. Fish in the sea in danger of the hook or net. Birds in the fowler's snare. Wildlife in the hunter's gun or crude weapons. Man in respect to his merely bodily existence is surrounded by influences antagonistic to the preservation of his soul's salvation. The crumbs lure the bird into its trap; the bait tempt the fish to bite the hook. Smooth sea and bright sunshine in the morning tempt the fishermen to the voyage upon the treacherous deep, which became his grave in the evening. Moral life is not exempted from this rule. Wherever a believer in Jesus Christ finds himself in the world, he will be tempted, because everywhere is surrounded by evil influences which war against his soul. Hence, Saint Peter the apostle wrote: "Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul" (1 Peter 2:11). We are also warned in Proverbs 16:25, that: "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." CONSENT THOU NOT; yield not to their persuasions, listen not to their solicitations, show no liking and approbation of them, assent neither by words nor deeds; do not say "THOU WILT"; say "I WILL NOT", and abide by it; be deaf to all their entreaties, and proof against all their persuasions. CONSENT THOU NOT IN THIS WISE, SENSE: 1. Consider the baseness and consequences. 2. Look at the effects you are bringing to your soul. Remember hell is ahead of you, and by slight mistake you are in there. 3. Secure yourself against such enticement, by living for Jesus Christ, the only God to be worshipped, the only Saviour for your lost soul.
